Jim Mansfield is a NYS certified music educator who teaches lessons in drums, percussion, and piano. He has instructed thousands of students for over 15 years in clinics, private lessons, and in band and music classes in public and private schools throughout New York City and Long Island. His education and teaching experiences have helped him shape a philosophy which is, first and foremost, to impart a love for playing music. All ages and levels are always welcome. Though all lessons are tailored to the specific goals of the individual, many students choose from the following fields of study: Learning various styles of music including rock, jazz, latin, hip-hop, funk, orchestral, marching band, and much more.
